Research Scientist, Machine Learning

How you will make an impact:

• Design, train, and deploy innovative core algorithms for robot imitation learning

• Bring insights from ML in vision and language to advance robotics

• Implement recent state-of-the-art techniques and benchmark their utility

• Conduct various experiments and create conclusions that crucially contribute to the direction of the development team

What we are looking for:

• Ph.D. or equivalent level of research experience

• Strong skills in research such as rigorous thinking, hypothesis building, and experimentation

• Expertise in recent techniques in ML such as transformers and generative modeling

• Software experience with modern ML libraries and tools (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, github)

• Strong capabilities in debugging and designing a major piece of software

Nice to have:

• Experience with basic ML pipelines such as cloud-based training

• Familiarity with reinforcement learning

• Basic familiarity with robotics
